Synopsis:

La historia de Erika (Erika’s Story) is the story of a girl who was born in 1994. She does not know where she was born, what her parents named her, or whether she had any siblings. The only thing she knows for sure is that as a baby, just a few months old, she was saved from the Holocaust. Her mother threw her off the train. Someone picked her up and gave her to a woman, who took care of her, educated her and decided that she would be called Erika.

Today she is a grandmother, the tree of her life has roots again and her star still shines in the sky.

Decades have passed since the liberation of the Nazi death camps. Erika tells us her story because the best way to ensure that it is not repeated is to keep the memory alive.
