Synopsis:

In Daniela y las mujeres pirata de la historia (Daniela and History’s Women Pirates), Daniela discovers an old book of her grandmother’s house with the story of ten brave women pirates. From the seas of China to the shores of New York city, from ancient Greece to modern times, these women pirates sailed the oceans in search of wealth and adventures. Though people often tried to stop them from sailing, they refused to accept their fate or fought to improve it. Awilda, Mary Read, Lai Choi San, Grace O’Malley, Ching Shih… Their lives and deeds inspired Daniela.

It should be noted that the story of Mary Read and Anne Bonny is presented from a cis-heterocentric perspective. It would be interesting to carry out research activities that would allow for other interpretations.
