Synopsis:

In the picture book What is a child? right from the initial question Alemagna tries to define a child, introducing the theme of diversity. Diversity is intrinsic to childhood, there are children of all kinds, but this diversity unfolds even more clearly in comparison with the adult world. These two worlds are absolutely distant, yet called to interact, look at each other through the eyes of the other, in the awareness that everything is destined to change, or maybe not.
