Proyecto AVISPAS (2019)

AVISPAS (wasps) Project is an open educational resource (OER) created by Alicia Nimo Liboreiro which aims to make a research proposal based on a rigorous process of information management in order to write an expository text. It is an Open Educational Resource of the EDIA Project (https://cedec.intef.es/proyecto-edia) of CEDEC (National Centre for Curriculum Development in Non-Proprietary Systems; https://cedec.intef.es/) of the National Institute of Educational Technologies and Teacher Training, Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, Spain.
This proposal was developed in the Pepe de Xan Baña Plurilingual Nursery and Primary School (Santa Comba – A Coruña) in a mixed group of 1st and 2nd year of Primary Education, but the tasks are open so it can be easily adapted to other educational levels. Moreover, its core importance lies in the development of the procedure of research and information processing, so it is transferable to any subject to be addressed. Its explicit objectives are: to introduce students to research methodology (learning to learn), to introduce them to a process of information literacy and to comprehend the most relevant features of expository texts.
