Synopsis:

This is a module of the MOOC developed within the scope of ESSENTIAL, an Erasmus+ KA2 project on news literacy and critical thinking. The main aim of this module is to explain how filters can be managed and what can be done to avoid them, and the secondary purpose is to guide instructors who want to use the content. The module covers the concepts and types of personalization, their potential impacts, and what can be done to avoid filter bubbles.
