Synopsis:
Diversity, Representation, Inclusion and Norm Criticism, or DRIN, is a project that brings together international writers, illustrators, library staff and publishers to create new standards for more diverse children’s literature and engage young and multilingual readers. DRIN highlights the gaps in representation in children’s literature and supports the building of a book market in collaboration with a diverse range of authors and illustrators. The project will also disseminate information to publishers, libraries, reading centres and educational authorities.
