Synopsis: The Safer Internet Centre (SIC) – Generazioni Connesse (Connected Generations) project, is co-financed by the European Commission under the Digital Europe programme. The project is coordinated by Italian Ministry of Education with the partnership of some of the main italian companies dealing with online security: Guarantor Authority for Childhood and Adolescence, the State Police , the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities , the Universities of Florence and La Sapienza of Rome, Save the Children Italia, Telefono Azzurro, Skuola net, ecc.
The SIC offers information, advice and support to children, teenagers, parents, teachers and educators who have experience related to the Internet and to facilitate the reporting of illegal material online.
